I'm launching this blog today, the last day of June in the year before a Presidential election, for one reason only: to follow the race for the Presidency of the United States via the outreach done by each respective campaign. Call it an experiment of sorts. Everybody wants to be a pundit. I want to actually assess and respond to the communications efforts of the big boys (and girl) and how well they reach into the bowels of Everyday America [TM].
Full disclosure: I'm a libertarian, traveler, and young professional. I will vote for a Republican next year more than likely (never say "never" -- if Barack Obama suddenly became a tax-cutting, gun-toting believer in the free market, I'd be on the bandwagon faster than the "I Heart Obama" shirts come off the loose woman wearing them).
I'm listening to the Barenaked Ladies right now, hence the title. Nothing more to it than that.
